Glassless Mirrors

What is it?

In our new space, we are putting in a small gym with yoga studio. To practice yoga, you need to be able to see yourself doing the various poses to improve them. Large sheets of plate glass mirror are heavy, expensive, and breakable. For this experiment we were looking for options.

Results

Alternative Mirrors:

1. Acrylic Mirror - clear acrylic with silvered back2. Mylar Mirror - Mylar film stretched over aluminum frame3. Polished Stainless Steel - 304 stainless steel sheet #8 finish (mirror)4. Black Mirror - high gloss black cast acrylic or black automotive paint on lexan/polycarbonate
